G Spot Vibrators
G-spot vibrators come in a wide range of shapes and materials. Control-mechanisms also vary from style to style. Some g-spot vibrators are curved from the handle to the end. Others may be straight, with a bend close to the end. A strong curve will allow the user to generate a lot of pressure with minimal movement. We like the Lelo Mona.
Material Options
G-spot vibrators come in many materials including silicone, hard plastic, jelly rubber, metal, and sometimes even glass. Silicone is one of the best materials available for sex toys of all kinds. It is non-porous and therefore possible to sterilize. Silicone toys will be a little more expensive, but they are investments that will not degrade over time.
Jelly Rubber and Plastic
Jelly rubber is one of the most affordable materials for g-spot vibrators. This can make for good “starter toys.” The downside is that jelly rubber is porous, making it difficult to clean.
Hard Plastic is another common option for g-spot vibrators. Some hard plastic g-spot vibrators are also waterproof, allowing use in the bath or shower.
Glass and Metal
Glass and metal are common materials for g-spot dildos, but rare for vibrators. Some glass or metal styles are two pieces: one sheathe for g-spot stimuation, with a removable vibrator in either a wand or bullet shape. We like the Icicles Glass Dildo.
Glass and metal can be attractive, easy to clean, and good at holding a temperature. Sometimes the hardness of the materials may be unpleasant for some users.
Additional Features
Some vibrators like the infamous rabbit are made for dual stimulation. They include an additional external part for clitoral stimulation. These toys can be perfect for people who enjoy a combination of clitoral stimulation and penetration.
Many dual stimulation vibrators have a separate setting for the internal part of the toy. The internal wand may vibrate or rotate to create a “grinding” sensation. We like the Sunset Intamites Pearl Rabbit.
G-spot vibrators can also come with a special grip like the Lelo Soraya.

REMINDER
A note about gender and sexual fluidity: Nothing is usually set in black and white. Like life, gender and sexuality come in all variations (the "50 Shades of Grey" title makes a little more sense now, right?) There are many people who don't identify as the gender most often associated with their personal sexual organs. A person may also be straight, gay, or anywhere on the spectrum in between. If you would like to learn more about gender and sexuality terms, Arnold Zwicky has a wonderful guide HERE
